Upon arrival in Srinagar, check into your hotel or a traditional houseboat on the beautiful Dal Lake. Spend the evening relaxing by the lake, perhaps taking a short Shikara ride to soak in the surrounding beauty. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Start your day with a visit to the famous Mughal Gardens such as Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Chashme Shahi. Visit the Hazratbal Shrine and the Shankaracharya Temple for panoramic views of Srinagar. After breakfast, get ready for a day trip to Gulmarg, located about 50 km from Srinagar. This charming hill station, known for its stunning meadows and Gondola ride, offers panoramic views of the snow-clad Apharwat Peak. In winter, enjoy skiing, snowboarding, or just take a relaxing stroll around the lush, flower-filled meadows. The Gondola ride is a must-do for incredible views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Return to Srinagar for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Pahalgam, one of the most serene spots in Kashmir. Known for its lush green valleys, crisp air, and the calming sound of the Lidder River, this town offers a peaceful retreat. Visit Betaab Valley, Aru Valley, or opt for a pony ride to the Baisaran Valley for incredible views of the surrounding mountains. You may also explore the Awantipora ruins. After a day of natural beauty and exploration, return to Srinagar for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, travel to Sonmarg, a 80 km drive from Srinagar, renowned for its alpine meadows and towering peaks. Enjoy the stunning views of Thajiwas Glacier and surrounding valleys. Sonmarg is the perfect destination for trekking, nature walks, and photography. If you are feeling adventurous, take a pony ride to the Thajiwas Glacier or explore the surrounding natural beauty. In the evening, return to Srinagar for the night, enjoying the serene atmosphere of the city.
On the final day of your tour, you can spend the morning shopping for souvenirs such as Pashmina shawls, Kashmiri carpets, or handicrafts. Take one last stroll along Dal Lake or visit any remaining sites you may have missed earlier. After lunch, check out of your hotel or houseboat and begin your journey back to Delhi, carrying with you unforgettable memories of Kashmir's beauty, culture, and charm.
